The aim of the World Federation of Breed societies is to improve and promote the Ayrshire breed on an international basis, to include:

• Organization of Conferences and International Meetings
• Promotion and organization of semen , livestock and embryo exchanges between countries
• Representation to governments and other bodies on matters concerning Ayrshire cattle
• Promotion of Ayrshire cattle to member and non-member countries as part of breed development
