The World Federation of Ayrshire Breed Societies are delighted to announce ANAAYGU, Italy as new members to our organisation. ANAAYGU was established in 2023 and currently comprises 20 members from diverse regions across Italy. The estimated Ayrshire population in Italy stands at approximately 500 females, with optimistic prospects for future growth.

The Italian Ministry of Agriculture has also approved the genetic program for the breed, which is fundamental for the development of the Ayrshire breed in Italy.

The World Ayrshire Federation now comprises of: Australia, Canada, Columbia, Finland, Italy, Kenya, New Zealand, South Africa, Sweden, United Kingdom and United States of America.
